Sam Levinson is an American filmmaker, actor and screenwriter. Born January 8th, 1985 he is the son of filmmaker Barry Levinson. Sam Levinson is known for the HBO series, Euphoria (2019-) and the movies such as Assassination Nation (2018) and Malcolm & Marie (2021). He has co-written the screenplay for the psychological thriller Deep Water (2022), and is the director of the HBO series The Idol (2022).
