I Hate Christmas (Odio il Natale) is a new rom-com series on Netflix directed by Davide Mardegan and Clemente De Muro, Starring Pilar Fogliati, Beatrice Arnera and Cecilia Bertozzi.
In six episodes we follow Gianna’s plight as Christmas nears – being relegated to the status of second rate family member due to her singularity, or singlehood.
Premise
Gianna is happily single the rest of the year is sick of being shamed for being alone at the holidays, so vows on December 1 to find someone to take home for Christmas.
About the Series
A quirky comedy series set in Venice, Italy we follow Gianna in her defense of her of singlehood. It becomes especially challenging for her up to Christmas, as she foresees a season celebration with her family and will be reproached for not being married and having had children.
Starring Pilar Fogliati, and counting on a good script, this sitcom series is an amusing Christmas number. The episodes are under half hour in duration, and the tone is lighthearted.
