The Claus Family 2 – On Netflix – Ho! Ho! Ho! Christmas Is Already Here

The Claus Family 2 is a 2022 Christmas movie directed by Ruben Vandenborre. Starring Mo Bakker and Bracha van Doesburgh.

Well, true to tradition, as soon as Halloween is over, Christmas kicks off, also in the world of streaming. And, as usual, we will say that this is not for Visconti fans (true to our recurring references).

Jules Claus and grandpa Noël are getting ready for their Christmas mission. Everything seems to go according to plan, until Jules receives a very special letter with an intriguing question…

Movie Review

The Claus Family is not of the best, but not the worst either. It is not a festival of imagination, nor does it aspire to change the concept of space time. It is about tradition and it has a nice moral to the story that despite everything, Santa will still be there and the Christmas spirit remains intact.

It is not, nor does it require to be, Frank Capra.
So, what can we say about this feature? Well, this is a film for the young ones, who are looking forward to the festivities, and a time of year movie critics and reviewers who do not work for Roger Ebert fear oh so much. Christmas is finally here, yes, already in early November, and with it the movies with that theme.

The movie is OK, it is a traditional piece, and that we will just leave be.
