About the movie

Perpetrator, a body horror movie set in a high school, portrays emotionality as a powerful tool, rather than a weakness traditionally ascribed to women. Critics have praised the movie for being original and daring, noting its mixture of horror, high school comedy, and feminist artistry.

Its potent mix of gore, secrets, masks, and glittery dresses creates a unique atmosphere. The flick is also highly entertaining, as it seamlessly transitions between various genres, such as coming-of-age and noir. Above all, the movie celebrates empathy as a supernatural quality.
