War: Wrath and Revenge is a Nigerian series starring Rahama Sadau, Mofe Duncan, and Yakubu Mohammad.
Today we have a Nigerian series that, with a presentation reminiscent of “Game of Thrones,” tells a political intrigue and a thriller of conspiracies to seize power and control of minerals.
A great concept in a series with a well-structured script, well-defined characters, and a plot with a lot to say, especially regarding class differences and political life.
A fiction that aims to go beyond fiction and, with ample evidence, serve as a denunciation of inequalities generated in politics.
Technically, it falls short of Hollywood production and this is evident in its cinematography, editing, and effects. A plot that would have required a much larger budget to achieve a better production, but if we can overlook its technical shortcomings, it has a very compelling story to tell.
Our Opinion:
A series that excels in its concept and script rather than its final execution. With more production resources, it could have been a much better series than it is.
