“Breathe” (2024) is an upcoming science fiction action thriller film with a release date of April 26, 2024.
The story unfolds in a dystopian future where Earth’s atmosphere is no longer breathable. A mother named Maya (played by Jennifer Hudson) and her daughter Zora (played by Quvenzhané Wallis) are forced to live underground for survival. They make short trips to the surface with the help of a special oxygen suit created by Maya’s missing husband, Darius. Their world gets turned upside down when a mysterious couple arrives claiming to know Darius’ fate. Maya must decide whether to trust them, leading to a fight for survival.
