Canada Post has proudly unveiled a new set of stamps dedicated to the illustrators of Canadian graphic novels. The series features the works of Chester Brown, Michel Rabagliati, Seth, and cousins Jillian Tamaki and Mariko Tamaki, artists who have significantly contributed to this genre and now join the esteemed ranks of individuals celebrated by Canada Post for their storytelling prowess.
Graphic novels, which may encompass anthologies, memoirs, and other works, have risen in popularity over the last fifty years as a form of narrative art combining illustrations and text similar to comic books. The five honored artists on the new stamps have pushed the boundaries and elevated the art form, inspiring readers worldwide.
The stamp issue spotlight five influential artists:
Chester Brown is best known for his graphic novel “Louis Riel: A Comic-Strip Biography,” for which he received the first-ever grant from the Canada Council for the Arts awarded to a comic book project.
Cousins Jillian Tamaki and Mariko Tamaki, co-creators of the popular graphic novel “Skim,” their second award-winning collaboration, which powerfully narrates the transition from childhood to adulthood.
Michel Rabagliati, the creative mind behind the award-winning semi-autobiographical series “Paul.” His graphic novel “Paul à Québec” was even adapted into a film.
Seth gained prominence with the comic book series “Palookaville,” part of which was published as the award-winning graphic novel “Clyde Fans,” depicting the story of two brothers grappling with the decline of their family business.

I do agree with all of the ideas you have presented in your post. They are really convincing and will definitely work. Still, the posts are very short for starters. Could you please extend them a bit from next time? Thanks for the post.
