Jana Euler – Parallele Praxis at Leopold Hoesch Museum, Düren, Germany

Jana Euler: Parallele Praxis

Peill Prize winner Jana Euler shows pictures that have never been presented publicly – either because there has not yet been an opportunity to show them, or because they were intended for a private space from the outset. Compared to the artist’s internationally known work, they behave like a shadow cabinet that is now coming into the public eye in a museum presentation. Euler’s works are characterized by their humorous play with different visual languages, styles and painting techniques, as well as by the question of what is or could be the subject of painting.
