‘Better Call Saul’ Amie MacKenzie Joins’ Dexter: Original Sin’ Series

Known most for her work in the series ‘Better Call Saul,’ Amie MacKenzie has joined the cast of the first episode of the prequel series ‘Dexter: Original Sin.’ The main cast includes Patrick Gibson, Christian Slater, Molly Brown, Christina Milian, James Martinez, Alex Shimizu, Reno Wilson, Patrick Dempsey, and Michael C. Hall. MacKenzie plays the role of Dr. Adametta.

Amie MacKenzie is an American bi-coastal actor who has steadily built a varied career across theater, film, and television. In 2024, she landed roles in eight major projects, including the series ‘Elsbeth,’ ‘Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story’ alongside Nathan Lane, and most recently, credited on IMDb as cast in ‘The Madison’, the new Taylor Sheridan series starring Michelle Pfeiffer, still filming and expected to air in 2025. Her past work includes notable appearances in ‘Better Call Saul,’ ‘1923,’ ‘MacGruber‘, and ‘AJ and the Queen.’

The ‘Dexter: Original Sin‘ series airs from December 13, 2024, to February 14, 2025, on Paramount+.
