Chelsea Joy Handler, born February 25, 1975 in New Jersey, is comedian, actress, writer, television host, and producer. She has hosted a number of TV shows, among them The Chelsea Handler Show on E!, Chelsea Lately, the Netflix series Chelsea Does, and on the same platform the talk show Chelsea. She worked on the documentary Hello, Privilege. It’s Me Chelsea. Handler’s books include: My Horizontal Life: A Collection of One-Night Stands (2005), Are You There, Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea (2008), Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang (2010), and she has columns on Cosmopolitan and Now. Her fifth book Uganda Be Kidding Me was later adapted for a stand up show on Netflix in 2014. In 2019 she published her memoir Life Will Be the Death of Me.
