Influenced by the Gesamtkunstwerk efforts of Richard Wagner and Alexander Scriabin, Hermann Nitsch conceived the 6-Day-Play as the centerpiece of his magnum opus, the Orgies Mysteries Theatre. In these Actions, the traditional stage is abandoned, and the audience is actively integrated into the performance as participants.
The first two days of this version of the 6-Day-Play were performed in July 2022. The third day will address the myth of the god Dionysus and the Dionysian archetype.
