“Coming into Focus”. Select works from the art collective Durden and Ray

Curated by Joe Davidson of the art collective Durden and Ray, this show represents the blurred lines that occur between our thoughts. It encompasses works that range from the abstract to representational, and all the fuzzy areas in between these two schools.

The works come in a variety of mediums, from paintings to mixed mediums to sculptures. Artists work with acrylics, oils, tinted plaster and cast tinted aqua resin. While this exhibition may at first appear abstract, upon closer examination we see objects and figures that may first seem obscured. Hence, the show title “coming into focus.”

Durden and Ray artists include painters Jenny Hager and Carlos Beltran Arechiga; mixed media artists Alexandria WiesenfeldHagop Najarian, and Tom Dunn; and sculptors Valerie Wilcox and Joe Davidson.

Celebrate Loiter Galleries’ first show with a sponsor, Anheuser Busch/Stella Artois. Bar on site.

Saturday June 26th. The show will close on July 31st.  Hours are Thursday-Sunday, 7 pm to 10 pm.

Loiter Galleries is a non profit organization, so donations are gratefully accepted via our website: LoiterGalleries.com.
