We are pleased to announce the second edition of FM Forward, the gallery’s new digital platform for cultivating insightful connections between our artists, their pivotal artworks, and our engaged community.
Our latest release offers an in-depth multimedia exploration of the extraordinary life and work of Marcia Hafif, including a digital catalogue of her 2018 exhibition A Place Apart at Pomona College Museum of Art and a curated series of live events and never-before-seen films, texts, interviews, and more.
For our keynote conversation, we invite you to virtually join Alanna Heiss, founder of P.S. 1 Contemporary Art Center (now MoMA PS1) and Clocktower Productions, and Jarl Mohn, avid collector and former NPR chief, for a special discussion on Hafif’s monumental 1972-73 work, An Extended Gray Scale. The conversation, followed by a live Q&A, will take place on Zoom on Wednesday, May 20 at 2pm (ET).
