DALLAS, TEXAS – January 13th, 2023 – Samuel Lynne Galleries is pleased to announce renowned contemporary artist JD Miller’s annual Valentine’s Day LIVE painting, which will take place on Valentine’s Day, Tuesday, February 14th, from 6 – 9pm, with Miller starting the LIVE painting performance at 6:45pm. We are elated to welcome all into the gallery for the eighth year of this annual event, which continues to be a favorite among visitors and clients.
JD Miller, the founder of Reflectionism, will use this Reflectionist school of thought to bring viewers into the creative experience. Each year McShan Florists donates a beautiful arrangement, which is revived on the canvas as Miller uses the comprised energy of everyone in the gallery to reflect the joy and gratitude that fills the room. Viewers will have the unique opportunity to witness Miller’s artistic vision by watching him create a masterpiece right before their eyes. As he utilizes color, texture, and shape, Miller creates a visual and social experience like never seen before.
This Valentine’s Day, audiences will have the opportunity to become a collector of JD Miller’s iconic oeuvre. Samuel Lynne Galleries will raffle off a signed copy of JD Miller’s new artist book, JD Miller: Reflections from Dragon Street, in addition to Miller’s sought-after Zen Acrylic artworks. JD Miller began his painting career 26 years ago with a vision. To perfect his style of 3-dimensional oil painting, from his first painting translations of classical works by artists like Pablo Picasso, Vincent van Gogh, and Paul Gaugin, to the creation and evolution of his own style. Miller imbues his prismatic work with a spirit of positive energy, love, peace, and joy as a fulfillment of his Reflectionist philosophy.
