On Saturday, March 11th, downtown Los Angeles’ Corey Helford Gallery (CHG) will proudly present Secret Longings, an international group exhibition curated by Australia-based, leading contemporary art magazine Beautiful Bizarre.

Marking Beautiful Bizarre Magazine’s 15th internationally curated exhibition and first in partnership with CHG, the highly anticipated group show is bringing together over 80 of the world’s best two and three-dimensional artists, each exploring the Secret Longings theme through the lens of their unique lived experience and artistic styles…while at the same time, bringing the pages of Beautiful Bizarre to life!

Says Beautiful Bizarre’s Co-Founder and Editor-in-ChiefDanijela Krha Purssey, “Secret Longings explores our hidden desires and deep longings, whether these are emotional or physical; focused on a partner or friend; lifestyle or career – these longings come from the heart. They are our hearts, or souls if you rather, whispering to us.” Adding, “The last few years have clarified to many of us what we do and do not want in our lives – what is truly important. We have looked inward and understood what is vital to our happiness and mental health. Only when we have tuned into this true and deep longing, can we focus on manifesting it in our lives. It is through this pursuit of our secret longings that we grow, evolve, and create the lives we wish to live.”

Danijela and her team have an incredible intuitive sense and talent for curating the best in the New Contemporary art scene. I’ve been enamored with the magazine since its inception in 2013, so to be able to partner with them in presenting Secret Longings is a dream come true.”
