“Spring Fever,”a pop up exhibition of work by artist Judi Harvest, will be on view at 526 West 26th Street, Room 209, from March 29-April 4, 2024. The twenty-five pieces in the exhibition, made between 1987 -2024, include paintings, Murano handmade one of a kind glass and mixed media sculptures. Human interaction with nature is key to Harvest’s practice. Research focused on the responsibility of bees and bats for pollinating plants and flowers is her major inspiration. As a result, Harvest’s work has ecological as well aesthetic meanings. Harvest uses beauty to focus our attention on the danger of extinction that face both flying species.
