‘States of Disruption’ Centre for Contemporary Photography

Kruithof has been exhibited at MOMA, New York; TATE London, The Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam; Xiangning Art Museum, Shenzen; she was shortlisted for the Lumen Prize in 2019, received an Infinity Award from the International Center for Photography in New York, and won the Grand Jury Priize st the Festival International de Mode et de Hyeres. Kruithof’s works are collected by SF MOMA San Francisco; Fotomuseum Winterhur Switzerland; Aperture Foundation New York; FOAM Amsterdam; Carnegie Museum of Art; and the Fotomuseum Rotterdam.

New exhibition brings together 12 international and Australian artists to explore the impact of the vast social, cultural and economic disruptions that have occurred over the last two years. Works included explore ways in which the visual has been destabilized by a reevaluation of self, truth and what it means to operate in the here and now.

States of Disruption features photography, video, and installation works from internationally renowned artists, and emerging and established Australian photographers and artists.

Featured artists: Anouk Kruithof (NL), Mishka Henner (BE), Krerkburin Kerngburin (TH), Kensuke Koike (JP), Rebecca Najdowski (US), and Australian artists Ali McCann, Kent Morris, Tommaso Nervegna-Reed, Izabela Pluta (PL/AU), Aaron Christopher Rees, and Danae Valenza.
