Join us for the UK launch and book signing of Lawrence Abu Hamdan’s latest publication Live Audio Essays, a collection of transcripts from performances, films, and video installations made between 2014 – 2022.
The launch will be accompanied by a screening of his video work 45th Parallel, 2022 (15 minutes) which has been awarded the 2023 Bill Douglas Award for International Short Film, Glasgow Short Film Festival, Scotland, 2022 Prix George Award for the Best Documentary Form, Winterthur International Short Film Festival, Switzerland and the 2022 Audience Prize by the Toronto Biennial of Art, Canada.
