About the Documentary
It doesn’t go into political details, there is no controversy, and no one will ever find it here. It is an approach to the public and private figure made with her consent (obviously, she let herself be filmed). It focuses an overwhelming lot on the private persona of Michelle Obama and on her relationships with those in her close circle during the promotion of the book (publicists and others).
As a documentary, without being original, it gives us a peak on the most private side of this woman or, at least, the (impeccable) one she wants us to see. Very warm, very American, very tv style.
