JoaqJoaquin Rafael Phoenix was born on October 28, 1974 in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
He is the brother of River Phoenix and has won practically every Award in his career, especially thanks to Joker, Academy Award for Best Actor. He has starred in The Master (2012), alongside Philip Seymur Hoffman. The film was directed by Paul Thomas Anderson (Inheritance Vice, also starring Joaquin Phoenix).
He was the bad guy in Gladiator (Ridley Scott) and we love him in Walk the Line (2005), a biography of Johnny Cash.
