Premise
Sam is the most unlucky girl ever. She loses her keys, gets locked by accident in the bathroom, there are no matching socks in the sock drawer. street lights turn red when she is about bike through….. Until, she finds a penny, picks it up and there is change in…… luck, which also turns out to be the start of a fantastic adventure.
Movie Review
Apple Original Films and Skydance Animation bring us ‘Luck’, a beautifully crafted animation feature, full of charming and funny characters.
The script is hilarious, and the lines are so well delivered by the voice over actors that we laughed a lot. We especially liked Bob the talking black cat. Simon Pegg nails the voice over of this hilarious character, with his Scottish accent, and witty lines. And Flula Borg was fantastic giving voice to the German unicorn and engineer, Jeff.
Our Opinion
This is a wonderful story, and so well compiled, both in animation and in script that we can only recommend it. This modern day fairy tale will up the happiness marker this weekend in many a home.
