Known for his graphic compositions that feature abstracted poodles, Susumu Kamijo will present a suite of new paintings at Venus Over Manhattan’s Great Jones Street location, beginning on 12 October 2022. For his first project with the gallery, Kamijo introduces a series of new elements into his much loved visual lexicon: birds and foliage will here join his signature poodles in dynamic arrangements, in paintings oriented horizontally for the first time. The exhibition will be on view through November 12th.
