Premise
The Gordon family moves into a house in the suburbs, just in time for Halloween. Daddy Gordon is not the world’s greatest fan of these festivities. Little does he know that he will have to team up with his teen daughter, Sydney, to deal with an evil spirit that wreaks havoc by making their neighborhood’s scary decorations come to life.
Movie Review
A good bet for the weekend. The theme being Halloween, the ambiance is suitably set with an abundantly decorated suburban town, and a magic-scary score that sets the comedic-horror tone.
The script is well elaborated, with funny dialogues, which are delivered well by the cast, within the set parameters of a family comedy.
It is a well-rounded movie, with good production design, and lively tempo that will keep audiences engaged. As for the premise, it is quite amusing with the Halloween decorations coming to life.
