Sebastian Maniscalco: Is It Me? is a stand-up comedy special starring Sebastian Maniscalco. How many stars would you give this standup special? Cast your vote!

From a Las Vegas stage, Maniscalco makes a grand entrance to the rhythm of a big band score and wearing a tuxedo. Wonderful contrast to what he has up his sleeve.

In a lively stand-up set, Sebastian acts out life’s little agonies, his marriage and date nights with his wife, school drop-offs to off-leash dogs.

With his distinctive nasal voice, Maniscalco tells us of the difficulties of being a father, husband and human in this day and age. Yes, everything was so much simpler back in the day, circa 1960, which he pays homage to with nostalgia – note, he was born in 1973. No worries, it is OK to be nostalgic for an era you never experienced…. Isn’t it?

There is always something to laugh at, and if it allows for goofy gesticulating, well, there is room for that too. Maniscalco definitely has an audience, gives voice to the frustrations of some people, and offers us a laugh or two.

It takes every kind of humor to make the world go round.
