This is a horror series with 7 chapters in which Maria Abascal has to face demons and also her inner demon, Abigail, a demon that feeds on Evil (generated by exorcisms, by the way).
This is a Blumhouse production and it has just premiered.
So if you feel like a rather “light” horror series without too many complications, here you have Mena Suvari to fill your nights with evil spirits.

Storyline
A supernatural thriller set in South Carolina, South Of Hell focuses on Maria Abascal (Suvari), a stunning demon-hunter-for-hire whose power stems from within. Like those she hunts, Maria is divided within herself, struggling with her own demon, Abigail, who resides inside of her, feeding on the evil Maria exorcises from others. Maria and Abigail share a soul and a destiny, but as Maria desperately tries to overtake Abigail, she will discover how far Abigail will go to remain a part of her.

Demons Are Forever
In Charleston, South Carolina, a city shrouded in darkness, it’s hard enough for a young woman like Maria Abascal to shake her personal demons. They cling. Now a stranger has enlisted Maria’s help in delivering Charleston from an insidious and mounting evil, and Maria’s the only person who can help. For her, that means confronting the past, and the one person who has made her life a living hell.
Judge and Fury
Maria enlists Bledsoe’s help to destroy a demon and free David from jail. Grace adjusts to life after possession, and Abigail grows stronger.

Maria becomes the target of an obsessive stalker after Abigail leads him on. David falls in with a dangerous group from Bledsoe’s past.
White Noise
Tensions rise as the Society of Sons targets David and Grace; Maria faces a mad demon that Abigail is helpless against; Bledsoe’s past comes back to haunt him; and Grace discovers a mysterious power.
The One That Got Away

In the Season 1 finale, Enos pits Maria and David against each other as the ultimate showdown pulls them back to where the nightmare began; Abigail makes a dangerous deal; and the Reverend fights for Grace’s life.
Blood Relations
Enos Demon army is revealed to be a brainwashed cult, so David, Maria, Grace and Bledsoe pose as recruits and attend the seminar to learn more. Once they arrive on Sangalo Island, they fear that Enos’ trap could be impossible to escape.
