Kings of Jo’burg is a very strange series that combines Miami Vice with supernatural things such as voodoo. Yes, apparently an impossible combination that, has become a success in its first season and comes back again on Netflix with this explosive cocktail of action, realism and supernatural plot about policemen.
This is the story of two brothers that control organized crime in the city of Johannesburg… with a family curse in between… political, family intrigue and lots and lots of treason.

Season 2 – Episodes
Episode 1
The future of the Kings is at risk with Simon missing and a long-lost sister returning. A new detective is in charge of investigating the family.
Episode 2
Veronica still has a lot to answer about her life in the last 20 years. Trying to figure out what happened to Simon, Angela grows suspicious of Mo.
Episode 3
After the big heist, the police take the Masire clan for interrogation and Phumzi reveals her secret to Mo. Tlotlo faces one of the most dangerous Masire enemies.
Episode 4
The Masire patriarch is killed and now Mo must find out who did it. Tlotlo gets into a dangerous negotiation with Zaza. Mo and Angela have a moment.
Episode 5
The Masire family strikes back and tear up the town to find out who killed the patriarch. Phumzi is being held captive by someone from her past.
Episode 6
In Simons Memorial Service, Mo is attacked, but the mermaid’s power protects him. He now has a difficult decision to make in order to save Phumzi.
Episode 7
The Masire safe house is invaded. Angela discovers where Veronica’s loyalties truly lie. Mo begins an operation to find Phumzi and protect his family.

The Masire clan starts to fall apart as Tlotlo decides to turn against Mo and Veronica shows another side of herself in a surprising turn of events.

The day Mo Masire is released from prison, police officer Jazmine pulls him in for questioning. She wants to use him to get to his brother, Simon.
My Brother’s Keeper
While tailing Simon, Mo finds out that his brother has a hidden family, but that’s not his only secret: A mermaid appears to Simon and demands blood.
Rise & Fall of the Young Prince
Tlotlo takes things into his own hands when Simon reprimands him for running illegal poker games out of the club. Mo brings Phumzi to a family dinner.
Equilibrium
Menzi’s daughter Zaza vows revenge. Keneilwe confronts Simon about his deal with the mermaid. The family plots to bring Mo back into a life of crime.
We Are Brothers
Simon and the Kings plan their next heist. Mo agrees to do the job, under one condition. Zaza forces Mimi to try and set up a meeting with Tlotlo.
The Sacrifice
Simon is tormented by the mermaid’s increasing demands for a blood payment. Stan suspects that the Masire brothers are behind Jazmine’s disappearance.
