About the Movie
We warn you: this movie promises more action in the tráiler than which it delivers later in the movie. However, it is entertaining… it uses a plot and treatment that is more or less lightweight at the beginning and transforms it into a more “serious” movie of political intrigue that gradually morphs into drama and even melodrama.
Mission Majnu will be a let down for those who are expecting a purer, more action film and will be able to entertain others because of its social-political story (those interested in social issues). It is well made, the characters are well defined within the apparent simplicity of the intents of the characters and (their goodness, so characteristic in Indian movies).
The action scenes are good, but they barely last a few minutes in a film full of dialogues and intrigue.
Film-wise, this film offers very little if we are demanding. If we are not, then it is good entertainment in which to spend two hours of our existence.
