Teen Wolf: The Movie is a movie directed by Russell Mulcahy starring Tyler Posey, Crystal Reed and Holland Roden.
This is a film produced by MTV especially oriented for teenagers and which features elements of recent successes and scenees from similar horror movies.
Enjoyable for its audiencde and intelligently “designed” (its production).
About the Movie
Films like Teen Wolf: The Movie, have their day. In mine we had the original Teen Wolf with Michael J. Fox and I enjoyed it equally with all its obvious lackings. It works for its audience and knows how to please its viewers, having done so generation after generation in MTV and in its speciality MTV is a master with plots that are especially thought out for segments of people in their twenties and with just enough complexity to not stand apart (this would have been a mistake, or maybe not).
By the way, it is better if you saw the series before watching this because if not you might miss a lot of the action.
Teen Wolf: The Movie is well designed, does not delve too deep in th characters and focuses on action, in giving the spectators what they came for, actors that are the most suitable as possible, and in the end, give everyone what everyone expected. Production wise nobody should be surprised if the movie, for reviewers is short on originality because this product is not searching for that, and more than trying to be original, an effort is made in this movie to not be original so as to not let their fans down.
If you go and see Teen Wolf, you will find a little horror with touches of humor and adventures in a correctly done production created for its fans. This is a movie in the same style as the television series, a success and we don´t want to go against the grain with producersr that on the other hand, have proven they know what they are doing very well.

Storyline
Full moon on Beacon Hills and with it a terrifying evil. Wolfs howl again, calling back Banshees, Werecoyotes, Hellhounds, Kitsunes and any other transforming creatures of the night. But only a wolf man like Scott McCall, who is no longer a teen but is still an Alpha, can recruit new allies and trusted friends to fight against what could be the most powerful and deathly enemy they ever confronted.
