Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken is a Dreamworks animated film directed by Kirk DeMicco and Faryn Pearl.

And it seems that, as they did in Shrek, our friends at Dreamworks are willing to turn the most traditional characters upside down.

A shy teenager discovers that she’s part of a legendary royal lineage of mythical sea krakens and that her destiny, in the depths of the oceans, is bigger than she ever dreamed.
