We’re excited to share a new “Island Spotlight” trailer for Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew with you.

After introducing you to the atoll of Iron Bay we’re revealing the island called Calamity Reef, which players will be able to explore in Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew.

The island is a graveyard of haunted wrecks that was once the site of a sea battle between Blackbeard and the Third Iron Fleet. It’s twisted beyond reason with countless shipwrecks lying around and the ocean floor growing beyond the sea in the open air. Lost souls mingle here and the broken lighthouse rises from the center of the catastrophe, forever frozen in its shattered state.

This is only one of several “Island Spotlight” videos that will be featured in the full game, as all playable islands will have their own introduction videos.

Each “Island Spotlight” video will set the tone and brief players about the lore and different localities of every island, providing them with a taste of the adventure that awaits them there. They are all narrated by the Red Marley, the talking sentient ghost ship of the cursed crew, with a vibe reminiscent of the well-known Hitman location / mission briefings.

Demo Coming to Steam Next Fest

Yesterday, we announced that Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew will be part of Steam Next Fest (June 19 to 26)!

For the multi-day celebration, a demo of our upcoming Stealth Strategy game Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew will be available for the public to play.

In the demo build, the players will be able to experience the first act of Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew, which equals to ± 2-4 hours of playtime, depending on the experience in the genre and playstyle. This includes the beginning of the game, various missions on two islands and several visits to their ghost ship, the Red Marley, which acts as a HUB between missions.
