In its course, it remains an interesting and original film, delving into characters and personal stories in its middle part until it has to raise the stakes in terms of rhythm and revisit those first scenes we all expect. It does it well, but without achieving that magical impact or an extravagant display of style.
However, it knows when to accelerate and drive the thriller forward, captivating the audience.
It manages to capture the essence of the story and tells it in its own unique way, with a somewhat melancholic and occasionally overly somber tone, only to pick up the pace once again to become a dark thriller of macabre crimes.
With a well-written script, compelling characters, and a well-structured thriller, combined with a realistic, gloomy, and melancholic ambiance, this film is filled with rain-soaked and dark scenes, brimming with secrets.
