Sadie Sink is a young American actress best known for her roles as Max Mayfield in the Netflix sci-fi horror series Stranger Things and Martha Brady in the NBC drama This Is Us. Born on April 16th, 2002, Sadie began acting when she was just 8 years old. She has since starred in various productions such as The Bleeding House, The Glass Castle, Unsolved: The Murders of Tupac and Biggie, American Odyssey and the upcoming film We Are The Wave.

Sadie’s performance as the nerdy yet brave Max Mayfield on Stranger Things has earned her critical acclaim. For her role as Max, she was nominated for a Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series three times. In addition to her work on television and film productions, Sadie also takes time to engage with fans through social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter.

In 2015, Sadie made history by becoming the youngest actress to ever star in a Broadway show (The Audience). On stage she has also appeared in productions such as Annie and Les Misérables. Not only does Sadie have an impressive list of acting credits under her belt; she is also passionate about dance, having trained with several different instructors in ballet, jazz and hip hop styles.

Outside of acting, Sadie is involved with many charitable organizations including Operation Smile and HeArt & Soul – an initiative that brings art supplies to children living below the poverty line. She has also been recognized for her humanitarian work; last year she won an award from DoSomething.org’s Teen Choice Awards for her activism efforts!
