Synopsis

Everything is different in Indiana, especially if you come from New York. Evan, a thirteen year old boy, will have to adapt to his new life to the new social customs.

Review

It is probably something I would watch on TV on a weekend morning as an eleven year-old and enjoy it, maybe even sing or dance along to it.

Being the musical it is the songs are good. It is after all an adaptation of the Broadway show, so you can expect catchy and lively melodies. We have included the soundtrack to the Broadway version below.

The cast is good, and performs according to the format and genre’s requirements. Well produced for this format (a TV format), it has a colorful set, cheerful music, and good choreography.

The storyline will be relatable to many a kid, and it is narrated in a friendly way, without grand gestures nor effects. This is a family-friendly movie.

Our Opinion

Good choice of movie for the family young ones. With a good soundtrack, it tells a relatable story in an amicable way.
