Jamie Dornan

Jamie Dornan is a Northern Irish actor, model, and musician. He is known for his roles in the films Fifty Shades of Grey (2015), The Fall (2013–2016), and A Private War (2018). He has also starred in the television series Once Upon a Time (2013–2017) and Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar (2021).

Dornan was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, on May 1, 1982. He began his career as a model in 2001, appearing in campaigns for Calvin Klein, Dior Homme, and Hugo Boss. He made his film debut in 2006 with a small role in the Sofia Coppola film Marie Antoinette.

In 2013, Dornan starred as the serial killer Paul Spector in the BBC Two series The Fall. His performance was critically acclaimed, and he earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor – Television Series Drama.

In 2015, Dornan starred as Christian Grey in the film adaptation of E.L. James’ best-selling novel Fifty Shades of Grey. The film was a commercial success, but it was also met with mixed reviews. Dornan’s performance was praised by some critics, but others found it to be wooden and unconvincing.

Dornan has continued to work in both film and television since Fifty Shades of Grey. He has starred in the films A Private War (2018), Robin Hood (2018), and Endings, Beginnings (2020). He has also starred in the television series The Tourist (2022) and Pam & Tommy (2022).

Dornan is married to the English actress Amelia Warner. They have three children together.
