‘Causeway’ is the upcoming psychological drama directed by Lila Neugebauer, written by Luke Goebel, Ottessa Moshfegh and Elizabeth Sanders. It stars Jennifer Lawrence, Brian Tyree Henry and Linda Emond.
The movie tells the story of Lynsey (Jennifer Lawrence), a US soldier who has to readjust to life upon her return home from Afghanistan where she suffered a severe brain injury.
We expect this to be a powerful drama about the very real topic of how veterans face challenges adapting anew to old circumstances. It had its premiere at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival.
