Cobalt Pictures has acquired foreign distribution rights (Australia, all of Africa and the Middle East, Europe sans the UK, and Asia sans India) to the human trafficking thriller Pursuit Of Freedom starring Jessica Koloian (Thy Neighbor, Courageous Love), Stelio Savante (Nefarious, Infidel), Robia Scott (Unplanned, Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Sharonne Lanier (Son Of The South, Summer of ‘67), Brayden Eaton (Dinosaur Cover, Miracle On Christmas), Tenley Kellog (End Of Loyalty, Faith Under Fire), Elias Kemuel (Family Camp, Ordinary Joe), Mark Lowry (Letters To Santa 2, Gaither’s Pond) and Robert Amaya (Courageous, Mom’s Night Out).
The remainder of the foreign rights are licensed to Vision films who launched both the North American theatrical release & VOD, and the US streaming rights through Pure Flix where the film is available nationwide. Also to Sky Store in the United Kingdom.
Pursuit Of Freedom is the true story of a Ukrainian woman (Koloian) who was separated from her three children and sold into trafficking by Russian gangsters. After years of struggle, she defied all odds with the help and kindness of a Dutch nurse (Lanier), an Armenian missionary (Savante), and an American pastor (Amaya). Though countries, miles, and time kept them apart, she held onto her faith and with the help of the church and strangers, survived to be reunited with her children.
