Babylon is a period piece directed by Damien Chazelle – creator of First Man and Whiplash. It stars Margot Robbie and Brad Pitt.
This will be the second time the two actors appear together in a movie, the first being Once Upon A Time… in Hollywood.
Premise
Babylon tells the very interesting story of the transition from silent film to sound movies during the roaring 1920’s. A tale of outsized ambition and outrageous excess, tracing the rise and fall of multiple characters during an era of unbridled decadence and depravity in early Hollywood.

Damien Chazelle is an American director and screenwriter. His directorial debut was the musical Guy and Madeline on a Park Bench (2009), his breakthrough came when he wrote and directed his second feature film, Whiplash (2014), which was based on his award-winning 2013 short film of the same name.
