Sixty Minutes is an action movie directed by Oliver Kienle starring Emilio Sakraya, Dennis Mojen, and Marie Mouroum.
Do you love kick-ass movies with lots and lots of punches? Well, you’re in luck because “Sixty Minutes” is the perfect movie to satisfy your “fighting thirst”: it’s packed with fights and punches throughout.
Plot
“Sixty Minutes” is an action movie about a troubled boxer who must fight, deal with custody issues with an angry ex-wife, and confront a gang of tough guys in a rigged fight.
What does the guy do? Our protagonist embarks on a wild race full of punches and chases in order to attend the party.
About the Movie
A thrilling action thriller, full of chases, races, and, of course, punches (and not a single one in the boxing ring, by the way). It’s the kind of movie that condenses all the action and delivers a thrilling spectacle for an hour and a half.
Does it succeed? Absolutely! However, if you’re looking for an “art house” film, run away until you lose sight of the horizon, because “Sixty Minutes” is primarily a thriller with a lot of action, where editing and effects take precedence over any aesthetic concept.
There are no stylized, Asian-style choreographies here, filled with violence but also with a poetic touch. In “Sixty Minutes”, it opts for street gangs and gives the whole thing a tone of realism in the setting, and all condensed to offer fans exactly what they want: unbridled action in a thriller where there’s not a single moment of tranquility.
We warn you again: if you don’t like these kinds of movies, don’t bother.
Our Opinion
A movie that chooses its audience and delivers a pure and unadulterated action spectacle, without concessions to aesthetics. Pure editing, pure rhythm in a movie that knows what it wants and moves forward with frenzy to achieve it.
