‘The Exorcist: Believer‘ is the upcoming supernatural horror film directed by David Gordon Green, starring Leslie Odom Jr., Ann Dowd, Jennifer Nettles, Norbert Leo Butz, Lidya Jewett, Olivia Marcum and Ellen Burstyn (she’s is back). This, the 6th installment in “The Exorcist” franchise, is written by Peter Sattler and David Gordon Green.
The film is due to be released on October 13th, and will be two months following the death of William Friedkin, the director of the iconic ‘The Exorcist‘ (1973), the seminal piece of what would become a hugely successful film franchise.
Premise
The parents of girls who are possessed by demons are seeking assistance from Chris MacNeil, someone who has encountered similar situations, in their desperate quest for help.
