It is not a film that aims to become a genre masterpiece or a mere action movie. Rather, it strives to justify the action and provide depth and personality to the characters, constantly avoiding superficiality.
The opening scene makes it abundantly clear – it is a well-executed blend of intentions that, in some way, seeks to move beyond superficiality; and with skillful concessions, it manages to entertain and amuse, while generating the necessary degree of empathy that every good comedy requires.
It stays true to the tone of French cinema, which is well appreciated. It is an organic action film that delves into the characters’ stories and does not attempt to imitate a Hollywood carousel, even though some may expect it.
This is a film that does not disappoint and, above all, it wins over the viewer with its complicity, likability, and the honesty of these three girls on the difficult path of action cinema.
