1 DECEMBER 2023 (TORONTO, ON) – GRAMMY® Best New Artist Award nominated Noah Kahan will perform as musical guest on Saturday Night Live tomorrow, December 2nd. Ahead of his SNL debut, the critically acclaimed Vermont singer and songwriter teams up with fellow GRAMMY® Best New Artist nominee, singer and songwriter Gracie Abrams, to reveal a new version of “Everywhere, Everything” today.
“Everywhere, Everything” is the latest artist pairing in Kahan’s beloved Stick Season (We’ll All Be Here Forever) collaboration series, following his recent releases with Hozier on “Northern Attitude,” Kacey Musgraves on “She Calls Me Back,” Lizzy McAlpine on “Call Your Mom,” and Post Malone on “Dial Drunk.”
Noah shares, “Gracie puts her whole heart into every song she writes and note she sings, and I found myself completely swept into her world the first time I heard her. So incredibly excited for you all to hear her incredible take on ‘Everywhere, Everything.’”
Gracie adds, “I’m so honored that Noah asked me to join him on ‘Everywhere, Everything.’ I’m constantly in awe of the heart and sincerity behind each of his songs, and I feel crazy lucky for the opportunity to sing on one of my favorites. Noah really is the best, and I am simply a fan.”
Beyond his fan favorite Stick Season collaborations, Noah recently performed a cover of Olivia Rodrigo’s “lacy” during his BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, following her cover of “Stick Season” earlier this fall. He also delivered a live version of the Double Platinum breakout hit—watch HERE. This performance tops a massive year filled with star-studded live collaborations, with the likes of Mumford & Sons, Gregory Alan Isakov, Wesley Schultz of The Lumineers, Nathaniel Rateliff of Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, The Milk Carton Kids, Joy Oladokun, and more.
Kahan currently has three songs simultaneously charting in the Top 100 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart—“Stick Season” at #37, “Dial Drunk” at #41, and “Northern Attitude” at #79. Not to mention, Kahan recently captured the #1 spot on two Billboard 2023 year-end charts—Top New Rock & Alternative Artist and Adult Alternative Airplay Artist. He also received two Billboard Music Awards nominations for “Top Rock Artist” and “Top Rock Album” earlier this fall.
On the one-year anniversary of Stick Season’s original release, the album’s hit single saw a massive resurgence on the charts as temperatures dropped and “stick season” began—climbing to the Top 5 overall on the Spotify Top 200 Chart in the US, UK, and Canada and peaking at #1 on the Spotify Top 200 Chart in Ireland. It was also a #1 single on the Official Irish Singles Chart and Top 5 single on the UK Singles Chart. The beloved album recently re-appeared in the Top 10 on Billboard’s 200 Chart at #9, following a debut at #3 earlier this summer, and jumped to the Top 10 on the Official UK Albums Chart.
Noah recently wrapped his highly successful, sold-out “Stick Season Tour” in Europe and the UK after a year of non-stop touring. Next year, he’ll embark on his highly anticipated “We’ll All Be Here Forever World Tour,” which will see him perform sold-out shows in stadiums, arenas, and amphitheaters around the world, including two nights at Boston’s Fenway Park, New York’s Madison Square Garden, Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, London’s OVO Arena Wembley, and more. See the full list of upcoming tour dates below. Not to mention, Kahan will headline several festivals, including Shaky Knees Festival, Osheaga Festival, and High Water Festival.
In October on World Mental Health Day, Noah proudly shared that his mental health initiative The Busyhead Project has excitingly surpassed its initial goal of “$1 million for mental health” and generated over $2 million dollars to date—with the purpose of creating a world where mental healthcare is acceptable and accessible for everyone. In July, Noah released Stick Season (We’ll All Be Here Forever), an extension of 2022’s Platinum-Certified Stick Season and his most successful offering to date. The deluxe version featured “Dial Drunk,” which peaked at #1 on both the Alternative and AAA Radio Charts in the US and currently sits in the Top 20 at Top 40 Radio and Top 15 at Hot AC Radio. The album debuted at #3 on Billboard 200 Chart, #1 on Top Americana/Folk Albums Chart, #1 on Billboard Top Alternative Albums Chart, #1 on Billboard Top Rock Albums Chart, and more. Impressively, Noah became the 5th artist in history with 18 songs on Billboard Hot Rock & Alternative Charts in one week, alongside David Bowie and Taylor Swift.
