COPENHAGEN, Denmark – Markus Artved, the talented indie musician and producer from Copenhagen, has released his latest single, “Hey Dreams,” under his project, Honey Hideout. This new track comes as a prelude to Honey Hideout’s debut EP, slated for release later this year.

A Journey Through Dreams and Realities

“Hey Dreams” explores the profound and often poignant realization that life doesn’t always turn out as we’ve planned. In moments when time feels fleeting, there is beauty in surrendering to the present and embracing life’s unpredictable twists and turns. Markus Artved invites listeners into this introspective space with his newest musical offering.

“Dreams are fleeting and often impossible to recite or remember to their full extent when we wake up. On the contrary, the dreams that each of us have for the future are both infinite and everlasting, but they also change as we develop and grow. When a dream eventually comes true, the actual shape of it has probably altered into something new and different than what you thought it would be in the first place,” Artved explains about the theme behind “Hey Dreams.”

A Creative Force in Music

Markus Artved has long been a creative force in the music industry. His debut as Honey Hideout with the single “Goodbyes” in December 2023 showcased a rich and varied musical universe. His work is characterized by hand-played, analog sounds and free-form compositions, drawing inspiration from the psychedelic pop heroes of the 1960s and 1970s. His music resonates with warm emotions and a nostalgic touch, influenced by his passion for indie, pop, and jazz.

Artved’s production credits include working on singles such as “Wish You Were Here” and “Home Movies” by international Danish pop star Lukas Graham, featuring Khalid and Mikey Guyton. He has also collaborated with several emerging artists from the Nordic region and is praised for his innovative sound design. Currently, he serves as the musical director for “The Little Mermaid” at The Royal Danish Theatre in Copenhagen.

Looking Ahead

“Hey Dreams” is now available for streaming, providing fans a glimpse into what’s to come with Honey Hideout’s debut EP later this year. Markus Artved continues to inspire with his honest and emotionally resonant music, making a significant impact on the indie music scene.
