“In the recent past, ballet has broken new ground with fresh choreographic visions bursting forth,” said THPAC Executive Chairman Alex Smith, Jr. “In recognition of this positive phenomenon, we will devote an entire season to ballet for the first time in our presenting history.” Smith was inspired to create this program during THPAC’s 46th season when Dylan Santos presented two classical ballet works featuring a large contingent of dancers from Dance Theater of Harlem.

This year’s lineup includes works by renowned choreographers Ron Alexander, Hassan Blandford, Cortney Taylor Key, Christopher Charles McDaniel, Walter Rutledge, and Ted Thomas. Their contributions promise to deliver an unforgettable experience that will resonate with audiences long after the final curtain falls.

Join us for an extraordinary celebration of dance that honors the rich tapestry of cultural diversity and artistic excellence. Don’t miss your chance to witness these groundbreaking performances at the Thelma Hill Performing Arts Center’s 48th Annual June Dance Festival.
