The Copenhagen-based R&B-pop-act is back following last year’s widely acclaimed album, ‘THE LAST DAYTONA’. The infectious electro-pop inspired new single, ‘blu’, taken from an upcoming innovative EP-concept entitled, ‘SKITZO’.

WIINSTON have become notoriously known for spontaneously changing their game and never sucking up to the business but always striving to challenge their own artistic limits with ambitious and colorful songs and albums.

This Autumn, WIINSTON return with ’blue’ and an innovative EP-concept.

“There’s a fine line between mainstream and anti-commercial. We always find ourselves standing on that line. And that’s how ‘blue’ came about with a tongue-in-cheek hook that’s both sarcastic and overmuch yet with an alluring and sophisticated sound to it,” singer Daniel Richards says, talking about the new electro-pop-inspired single.

“That’s why we came up with the ‘SKITZO’-project. It’s an EP-concept where every WIINSTON release comes with an A- and B-side using the same lyrics and melody but interpreted with completely different musical expressions,” producer Alfred Thomas says about ‘SKITZO’ said to be released in full in early 2025.

WIINSTON debuted in 2017 signed to Capitol Records in LA. The multi-faceted R&B-pop duo have released three albums including the dark, urban-infused, ‘MIDNIGHT ROCKET’, from 2018, which was followed a year later by the acoustically dreamy, ‘JELLYFISH’. After a 4-year album hiatus, WIINSTON returned in 2023 with the release of ‘THE LAST DAYTONA’ including the singles, ‘care4’ and ‘tick in blue’, hitting the headlines of culture and music media everywhere.
