A group of small-town young men run a lucrative phishing operation, until a corrupt politician wants in on their scheme – and a cop wants to fight it.
About the Series
A light and well-meaning series, this time about swindlers. It is well narrated and developed with skill and a good tempo: a criminal drama that manages to cover a lot of terrain in a short amount of time, and knows how to assert itself with what it tells, take turns, and offer us ten episodes that if not fast-paced and captivating, then entertaining in its own way.
It is a series of intrigues that seeks to entertain rather than to impact with exacerbated drama. This time there are no jump scares, big tear-jerking moments, nor any sublime action scenes. It is a relatively well told story, without being excessively intense.
Is it inconsequential? Yes, but it is entertaining, too.
