Previously, this same story had been adapted into a Japanese animated version. This new series heightens the realistic tone and serves more as an adventure narrative, featuring castle sieges and providing an excellent illustration of the era.
Without drawing too much attention to its aesthetics, the series manages to carve out its own identity through its pacing, editing, and storytelling. It succeeds in creating a narrative with a lively and youthful rhythm.
