Tour de France: Unchained is a documentary series on Netflix.
The Tour of France is the most prestigious and tough competition in the world of cycling and a source of pride for France which, year after year and peppered with some scandals, gives us the opportunity to see the best cyclists in this gladiatorlike war fighting for survival and for the honor of wearing the precious yellow jersey.
Tour de France: Unchained is a wonderful documentary full of emotions, passion, and energy in which we can delve into what this spectacular cycling race is through its wonderful 8 episodes.
It has great images and interviews with the protagonists. The series manages to fully immerse us in what the war for survival is and the maximum physical and mental demand that this race requires. A documentary that stands out, above all, for the vitality of the narrative and the way in which it conveys the challenges of the race through the editing and color of the images.
A production that takes us there, right in the middle of the peloton, transmitting to us what it is like to win a stage in a sport that is both individual and team, one of the wonderful contradictions that it entails.
If you like cycling, it’s an unmissable documentary and a real gem for fans, and if not, who knows, it could be a great starting point to become a fan of this wonderful sport that attracts more people every day.
Enjoy it.
