‘Valeria’ (2023) Season 3 on Netflix: A little Sex and the City… in Spain

Valeria is a Spanish series directed by Inma Torrente, Nely Reguera and Laura M. Campos, starring María López Castaño and Aurora Gracia.

Elisabet Benavent wrote a series of novels about these four friends and their romances, adventures, and lives. It was a complete success and now it is the turn of the series, which is now in its third successful season.

It’s not that it dazzles with its originality, it’s not that it doesn’t resemble the HBO series (to which is very similar, or so it pretends), but the thing is that it manages to leave us with a “good vibe” feeling that makes us inevitably binge it episode after episode.

A TV series that manages to keep the interest very high… if you want to follow the lives of these four girls: balanced, entertaining, nice and with a perceivable effort at the production level. An easy-to-watch series that keeps you hooked to its friendly approach to everyday stories.

It’s not a series to overthink its plot. It wins us episode after episode, especially for its pace and its good script. Although it’s far from life changing, each scene has something to tell and each character something to say.

A series that, above all, has the virtue of keeping us good company and achieving a friendly tone of close conversation, without excessive conflicts or shocks.

A very cinematic series, with funny dialogues and, above all, with four girls who each give us a portrait of their character, their experiences and, mainly, of the times in which they live.
