About the Series

“Zombieverse” is a survival reality show that revolves around zombies and horror. Participants willingly consent to participate in this terrifying zombie game.

Originating from a dating television program in Seoul, participants take part in a series that combines reality and fiction, resembling a version of The Blair Witch Project with zombies.

While it may not appeal to everyone and may not become a cinematic masterpiece, the concept itself is intriguing and innovative.

As always, the audience will be the ultimate judge.

As a concept, it stands out from all the reality shows you may have seen throughout your life. It incorporates the familiar themes of coexistence, adversity, and a Big Brother-like figure that observes everything and allows it to be seen. This leads the viewers into a survival game divided into eight episodes, where participants must overcome various challenges.

The series maintains a pleasant tone and offers a glimpse into its inner workings, exposing its intricacies to the audience. It leans more towards entertainment than horror, and while the originality of the concept may not convince everyone, it certainly delivers a different form of entertainment than what is typically seen.

We won’t explicitly recommend or label it as the worst thing we’ve ever seen, but we do support original ideas, even in this genre known for its repetition.

“Zombieverse” also has elements of repetition in terms of its foundation, but it also brings a unique concept that, unsurprisingly, comes from the current trend-setting country in the film industry. Netflix seems to have placed its full trust in this series.

Let’s hope it doesn’t disappoint because “Zombieverse” is an experiment, a risky venture in a format that caters to a predictable audience, which, this time, will undoubtedly be surprised by this peculiar blend.
