Upload is an science fiction comedy television series created by Greg Daniels. It stars Robbie Amell, Andy Allo, and Allegra Edwards.
The series is set in a near-future where people who are near death can be “uploaded” into virtual reality environments. The main character, Nathan Brown (Robbie Amell), is a young man who is uploaded into Lakeview, a luxurious digital afterlife, after a self-driving car crash.
In Lakeview, Nathan meets Nora Anthony (Andy Allo), a customer service representative who is assigned to help him adjust to his new life. Nathan and Nora quickly develop a close bond, and together they navigate the challenges and opportunities of digital afterlife.
The series premiered on May 1, 2020, on Amazon Prime Video and was renewed for a second season. The second season premiered on March 11, 2022, and the third season premiered on October 20, 2023.
